Shahana Quazi - Biography

Shahana Quazi is a versatile Canadian singer, recording artist, performer, and influencer of South Asian origin. She has rapidly gained recognition both in Canada and globally. In addition to her music career, Shahana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York University, Toronto, one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Canada.

Growing up in Toronto, Shahana is a proud South Asian Canadian who embraces her cultural heritage and reflects a blend of East and West in her music. She loves Canada and proudly represents the country on the global stage. She is multilingual, performing in English, Hindi, and Bengali. Outside of her music career, Shahana is fun-loving, family-oriented, and enjoys outdoor activities like swimming.

Shahana's debut album, Bhalobashar Kotha (2015), features nine original Bengali tracks that blend North American and South Asian musical styles, gaining international acclaim. In June 2019, she continued her musical journey with the release of her single Tomar Anari, showcasing a modern take on Bengali music. Both releases are available on all major streaming platforms.
